Something Special

Thursday, 1 March 2018

Today, CBeebies aired a an episode on “Pairs” on Something Special. We thought we were seeing double because the episode, filmed at Cherry Oak School before Christmas was all about our two pairs of twins: 2 pupils and 2 staff. You can watch Justin and Mr Tumble and our very own Cherry Oak stars on catch up! Enjoy!

Christmas Play

Thursday, 14 December 2017

Neither rain nor snow can stop the Cherry Oak Christmas Show. The rehearsal is in full swing and Belle and the Beast are looking suitably beautiful and beastly! After being postponed because of the snow, our Christmas Play will now be on next Tuesday and Wednesday 19 and 20 December 2017 at 10am.

The Christmas Show is coming soon….

Thursday, 7 December 2017

That much-loved classic: Beauty and the Beast will be performed by our Cherry Oak pupils at the annual Christmas Show. I am really looking forward to it!

Spooky Halloween

Friday, 10 November 2017

October 31 was Halloween and many of our Cherry Oak School pupils (and staff)  dressed up in spooky Halloween costumes and played tricks on unsuspecting staff and pupils!

Some of our parents are really good at ghoulish make-up. Thank you for making it a fun day.

Parent/Teacher evening

Friday, 10 November 2017

Despite heavy traffic and inclement weather, it was wonderful to see so many parents and carers in attendance at Cherry Oak’s Parent/Teacher evening on Tuesday 7 November 2017. What a delight it was to meet so many of you and some of the brothers and sisters too!

Effective education relies on a strong partnership between a child’s family and their school. We value your input, ideas and concerns and trust that we can work together to share priorities learning targets and agree consistent approaches to support your young person’s learning.

Thank you for your Harvest 2017 Donations

Monday, 23 October 2017

This year Cherry Oak School asked parents and carers to donate items of food for a local food bank, St Michael’s food bank in Bartley Green for the Schools Harvest Festival.
