Welcome from the Head of School

It is a privilege to introduce myself as the new Head of Cherry Oak School, and I am truly delighted to be joining this remarkable SEND primary community. From my very first visit, I was struck by the warmth of the children, the dedication of the staff, and the strong sense of partnership with families. This is clearly a school where every child is celebrated for who they are and supported to grow in confidence, independence, and joy.

Our pupils learn in unique and wonderful ways, and my commitment is to ensure that each child continues to receive the personalised, nurturing, and ambitious education they deserve. I believe deeply in creating environments where children feel safe, understood, and empowered to explore their interests, communicate in the ways that work best for them, and experience success every single day.

I look forward to getting to know our families, professionals and Governors, listening to your experiences, and learning more about the strengths and aspirations of our school. Together, we will continue to build a community where every child is valued, every achievement is celebrated, and every voice matters.
