Cherry Oak Friends and Family Support - COFFS

The COFFS group is made up of parents, carers, family and friends of pupils here at Cherry Oak School.

Anyone in connection with a Cherry Oak student is welcome to come along to the sessions and take part. The level of participation is entirely optional. You can sit and listen, offer support, advice and experiences to likeminded people who are all in similar circumstances and have children with similar needs to yours.

We are here to be a support network for parents and carers. The group is run by Claire (Strategic Pastoral Care Manager) and Vicky Mawby (family worker).

We aim to run sessions where we can provide information which will be of benefit to you and your child.

Past sessions have included; Online safety for children at home, Managing Challenging Behaviour, Phonics Workshop,  AutismTraining , Cerebra talk's about the service available.

We plan and organise sessions around requests made by group members, so any suggestions for future sessions are welcomed, after all this is a group set up to meet your needs as a parent or care
