England didn't bring the Fifa World Cup home but Cherry Oak brought home the Federation Panathlon Challenge trophy!
40 pupils across KS1 & KS2 competed in a Federation Panathlon Challenge against 40 pupils from Victoria School.
All pupils participated in a range of adapted sports and activities such as Boccia, New Age Curling, Target throw, Basketball, Messi Football, Table Cricket and more.
8 teams of 10 pupils rotated round the activities and tried their best to collect points.
Both schools had lots of fun and enjoyed a really well organised day of physical activities. For some pupils this was there first competitive event and opportunity to participate in so many activities.
Cherry Oak WON with 162 but it was close with Victoria school 141 points.
A massive THANK YOU to all the organisers at Panathlon and Colmers School. A special mention to all the leaders who did a fantastic job supporting and leading the event. All the leaders were very helpful and friendly.
