In Willow class we love being top of the school. Being top of the school means we focus on being good role models for the rest of Cherry Oak. In Willow class, we are a class of 12 children. Our teacher is Ellee and we have Jenny, Karen and Sharon who support us.
We work very hard, every day, towards our individual targets. We have a busy timetable which includes a variety of learning activities. We are a lively bunch who love practical based activities and especially activities that get us up and moving.
Children in need- 13.11.20

Remembrance day- 11.11.20
In art we have been creating our poppy memorial to remember the soldiers that died. Today we enjoyed looking at all of our art work. We stood very quietly and listened to some music whilst we thought about the soldiers.
Our super learning day for our new poem
Today we had lots of fun for a super learning day. Our new text is The Owl & the Pussycat. We made our own characters masks and was invited to the Owl & the Pussycat's wedding. At the wedding, some of us pretended to get married and we all had a wedding reception where we 'played guitars' and 'danced under the moonlight'.
In Science this half term we have been focusing on electricity. We have had so much fun making circuits and testing different materials. We have enjoyed trying to make things turn on, such as a bulb, buzzer and a motor.
This half term in CLICK we have been focusing on our emotions. Today we have had lots of fun gathering natural materials and making different faces out of them.
Our first super learning day of the year!!!
This half term in English we are looking at an autobiography from Queen Victoria. Today we had our super learning day, where we made our own costumes. We then went to a Queen's party in the backlands and came back into class to watch the Queen's speech.
Our first week back at school!!
We are so happy to be back at school. This week we have enjoyed our staggered return and are looking forward to seeing all of our friends back together. This week we have enjoyed sensory play, art activities and settling back into school life.
